Security & Testnet Notice: Arqis currently runs on Arc Testnet. Testnet assets have no real-world value. Do not send mainnet funds. This prototype is not audited.
Guide 04

Circle Faucet / Setup

A testnet-only helper for teammates who need Arc Testnet USDC before trying the current invoice flow. Other assets are setup references and future routing experiments.

Goal

Help testers get ready

This section exists so teammates can add Arc Testnet and request supported test assets without leaving the prototype context.

Future mainnet rule

Remove faucet flow outside testnet

If Arqis moves beyond testnet, replace faucet onboarding with wallet connection, network switching, balance check, and checkout/payment flow for supported assets.

Current MVP settlement

Native Arc Testnet USDC for invoice testing

Current checkout mode uses native Arc Testnet USDC transfer for invoice payment. ERC-20 USDC references are included for setup visibility and future routing experiments, not the current invoice settlement path. EURC and cirBTC are faucet references only and should not be treated as supported invoice settlement assets in the current MVP.

How to use

Tester steps

Add Arc Testnet

Use RPC https://rpc.testnet.arc.network, Chain ID 5042002, and currency USDC.

Open Circle Faucet

Go to https://faucet.circle.com and request Arc Testnet USDC.

Check explorer

Use https://testnet.arcscan.app/ to inspect testnet activity.

Return to checkout

Use the testnet USDC to try Create Invoice and Pay Invoice flows.

Reference values

Use native Arc Testnet USDC for the current Arqis invoice MVP. ERC-20 addresses below are setup/future-routing references unless explicitly enabled in checkout.

  • Circle Faucet: https://faucet.circle.com
  • Arc Testnet RPC: https://rpc.testnet.arc.network
  • Chain ID: 5042002
  • Explorer: https://testnet.arcscan.app
  • USDC ERC-20 reference: 0x3600000000000000000000000000000000000000
  • EURC ERC-20 reference: 0x89B50855Aa3bE2F677cD6303Cec089B5F319D72a
  • cirBTC reference: available from Circle Faucet
Direct receive

Receive USDC

Use a wallet address or wallet QR for direct Arc Testnet asset transfers. This is useful for testing and receiving funds, but it is separate from invoice payments.

Important distinction

Wallet QR vs invoice tracking

A wallet QR points to a chain/network-specific receiving address. On Arc Testnet, the same address can receive supported test assets, but current Arqis invoice settlement is USDC-only. Wallet QR is separate from tracked invoice payments.

Do not use direct wallet transfers for order tracking. If the seller needs invoice history, reference code, and receipt detail, create an invoice and use the payer invoice inbox.
